Yes I'm a Sunni Muslim which accounts to roughly 85-90% of the muslim population. My knowledge regarding your creed or religion is very limited. It was for that reason i was chosen to do this assignment. My Professor was reading an article about your church and I asked how your creed is different then that of a catholic. My professor then was alarmed by my ignorance and assigned me with this project. Again i apologize for not knowing on which part of the forum i should post. I found some websites speaking of your creed but i don't think they were accurate since they were describing it as a cult. I don't think a mormon would call his religion a cult therefore, i discard any websites like that as bad propaganda. Should i post in the discussion forum? is it proper for me to ask questions or is this websites strictly caters to mormons? Please enlighten me.

Hello, I'm a student of Business administration ( Finance ) in Saudi Arabia. In our curriculum I'm require to take 4 islamic studies courses. I'm currently studying the second one, which mainly relates to comparative studies with other religions. I have to write a research paper and the religion that was assigned to me is Mormonism and their relation to islam. The paper has to be finished and presented to a number of classes ( 200 students approx. ) I was hoping i could get some information here.
