well, my brother is an artist and I know that it is nice to have complements and you do deserve them. But more importantly I have found that when he really is asking me for how something effects me, he would really like to know. So, this is what I would hope will help you. I think that the picture is very striking, however, the edge colors are very warm and dark, and the print very sharp. This brings an effect of a messege of possible anger, or other extream circumstances. This background would work in my mind with a theme of the last days and the prophecies concerning the concequences of being unwilling to repent. Otherwise, I think that if you added more cool colors and lightened to clouds... OR ...possibly extend the rays into the clouds and show how the light disseminates darkness..."and the darkness comprehendeth it not." (John 1:5) Anyhow, that is my honest impression upon seeing your artwork. It is a great start. Make it glorify the God you serve. Put all your love into it, and it will become something you are sure of.
