To be honest Im not an active member anymore in the LDS church but Iam active in Christian Central Church. The 3 Bishops are from my hometown, Henderson NV. I guess I just wanted to share my story in hopes that maybe Les Johnson, or other patients that were there with me at the time. I have several people that signed my autograph book and have never seen them since. This little paper book the hospital gave me when I arrived and all my Doctors signed it, the band that played on our entertainment night signed it the bands name was Free Agency. My small paperback autograph book is one of my most treasured things I own. And is still in good condition. I did share my story when I came home with the LDS Church in my hometown during sacrament. Its so funny now to think I could hardly reach the podium....for I was so much younger.. Thank You for letting me share my story that actually has so much more I could tell that happened to me during that time, Its hard for me to remember at times a month ago, but I remember every detail of every day, during those few months. It had a GREAT IMPACT on my life...Thanks Again, Debbie

When I was 11yrs old I was admitted to primary childrens hospital in salt lake city utah, I had scar tissue surrounding my brain and was having siezures at the time. Before I left my home in henderson nevada my mom had 3 bishops from the mormon church come and do a blessing for me before we left. They put oil on top of my head and each man laid there hands on top of my head, When the second man preyed I felt a tingling feeling go through my whole body, and after the praying was done, I did not feel as afraid, I told them what I felt and the man told me it was the holy ghost that I had felt. When I arrived at the Hospital with my xrays, a gentlemen by the name of Les Johnson, who was a volunteer at the hospital was there to greet me and took me under his wings and made me feel as ease. I was the fifth Debbie admitted to 5west. They took xrays when I arrived, had the xrays I brought with me. My surgery was scheduled for a week from the time I arrived, for they had to give me medication for a week prior to surgery. The Sunday before my surgery which was the following day, they took another set of brain scans and MY SCAR TISSUE WAS GONE..NEVER TO HAVE RETURNED TO THIS DAY AND i HAVE NEVER HAD ANOTHER SEIZURE. I have an autograph book that I have carried with me since 1969 that has signatures of all the patients I became friends with, signed by all my doctors, and a whole page that Les Johnson had signed talking about my miracle that had happened.
