Well, I'm back again. Just wanted to inform everyone that my fiance' and I are married now (married on April 9th). We were married by the bishop of the LDS church (her parents recommended him). Just an opinion question that I have: If I decided to join the LDS church (and I'm married now, of course), would we always be looked down on for the things we've done in the past (living together for 3 yrs while not married)?

Thanks for the kind welcome! Lizzy16, to answer your question, she is considered "inactive". She hasn't gotten her name taken off the records or anything like that.

I've been reading through the forums section on here for about a week now, and decided this was a really good place to learn about LDS, so I joined. My Fiance was Mormon, then there were some complications with family and friends when she started dating me (I'm not Mormon, but I am interested in learning more about it). Anyway, thats my introduction, so my next few posts in the forums will probably be about the things I previously mentioned. Thanks, and I look forward to speaking w/ many of you!
