Hello- My name is.. well, Goldie will work for now
As it says in my profile, I was born/raised LDS. Mom is a convert, was baptized when she was 10, didn't have access to Seminary and still holds it against herself. Dad's family has been LDS since.. well since Nauvoo and Winter Quarters.
I served a mission and returned with honor, then met a sweet guy and married him in the temple. Things happen, people change, and after 10 years I got to the point that I couldn't be with him any more. It was squashing my spirit. I asked for a divorce December 2009, papers were signed the next March.
I got back with a dear friend, and I'm now house-sitting for him. We've talked about marriage, but it'll probably be another year. He's in Africa working for a year, and I'm working on fixing my credit.
