Hi everyone,
Just joined, and thought I could get some feedback from all you wise people out there!
I have been a part of the Relief Society Presidency in our ward for a while, and I am getting overwhelmed with all the negativity from some of the sisters. As a presidency we are never approched personally, the complaints go to the bishop or other sisters in the ward. They can be anything from constantly going over time on Sunday with the lessons (we don't), picking the wrong songs to sing, having enrichment meetings not held at church (this complaint from someone who does not attend even when at chuch), the person conducting giving a comment relating to the lesson at closing.....etc...
We are trying to stay positive, but honestly it is starting to wear on all of us. I try to remind the other ladies in the presidency to focus on the positive we do, and the other sisters do, and not let a few sisters overshadow the good with the negativity.
Are there anyone who has any good ideas on a lesson we could give regarding this, or something we could do in order to improve unity among the sisters?
Open for suggestions.
