Hello all,
I am not sure where to post this but I had a question in regards to becoming a mormon.
First off, I am a single mom with 2 kids...all the time, and I have always been spiritual. I was raised a catholic but never attended church after I was 14. The last few years I have been trying out different churches ( baptist, christian ect) and did not feel any real pull of faith ( so to say)
I met 2 missionaries when they showed up at my door at a very trying time in my life. After a few visits and meetings, I decided to go to the church and my son joined the young mens group.
However after feeling a little pushed for my son to get baptised and reading the questions that you are asked when baptised, I decided after months of bible meetings , to not continue ... I spoke with the missionaries and told them I did not quite "agree" with some of the beliefs and so on. They said they would pray for me and that I should pray and see what happened. I ended up later that week asking god if I was making the right decision in not following through with becoming a Mormon.
The other night while I was sleeping, I had a dream.
While standing out in my driveway, I saw a man across the street doing construction with a back hoe, he resembled my ex boyfriend ( or so I thought) and I decided to walk towards him to see if he recognized me. He seemed to know I was there and he turned around and came towards me. I looked away and when I went to look again, he was in front of me , but backwards and he had long shoulder length dirty blonde hair and he turned around, and I had never seen him before, he then said to me
" Lisa, are you coming back to the church of latter day saints?"
And he smiled, and I did not know what to say or do.
Then I woke up........
Is this a sign for me? I have never had an experience lucid dream such as this.......
