  1. I have been a member of the Church for about 18 months. I have always had a really strong testimony that the Book of Mormon is true and that this is Heavenly Father's Church. But, this last month, I've been feeling really numb and empty. I feel a lack of motivation to do anything, including a lot of church related activities, like reading my scriptures, praying and attending meetings. When I read my scriptures, I find it really hard to concentrate on the words I'm reading and I can't feel the Spirit at all. Whenever I do pray, I don't feel like Heavenly Father is hearing them. Whenever I go to church meetings, I feel sinful because I can't feel the Spirit. I know I should have more patience, but I don't know how long I can go on like this. I feel like it's having an effect on my testimony. I feel like this is a result of something I'm doing. Does anyone have any suggestions of what I could do to remedy the situation?
