  1. Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to reply. I went to Sacrament Meeting yesterday and it was definitely a positive experience. The two people that I saw who knew me from before went out of there way to welcome me and came and sat with me. Very welcoming. It is hard to pinpoint why I stopped going in the first place. I guess I just got a little overwhelmed with things. I got a calling before I felt ready or even knew really what a calling is. No one talked to me about it, it was just sort of sprung on me and it was assumed that I was OK with that.
  2. Thanks for your encouragement and for taking the time to reply.
  3. What does being worthy of the sacrament entail?
  4. I am a new convert who stopped attending church a while ago. I have to confess that I have been attending a different church but I want to come back to the LDS church. I'm a little nervous as to how I will be received. Also I wonder if I should I take part in the sacrament?
  5. Thanks! :)
  6. Ah I see, so it's best to hold off until one is baptised. Thanks.
  7. So you don't have to be baptised LDS? Cool.
  8. Who is allowed to take part in the sacrament?
  9. Here's a new post. Please let me know if I have made any errors in my understanding of LDS doctrine. Thanks!
  10. Thanks guys.

  12. Once again, thanks for answering my questions! :)
  13. More questions, sorry. :) I understand that members of the LDS church don't drink coffee, tea, and soda. Is this correct? I for one love my Starbucks and soda too but I am willing to learn the correct path that I should be on.
  14. I grew up Catholic so I find it quite refreshing to see a more understanding view towards divorce.
  15. Thanks for the replies!
  16. Hi Everyone, As the name states I'm very new to exploring the LDS church. I have a couple of questions. 1. What is the church's stance on people who were married and divorced outside of the church getting remarried? 2. I have some health issues which require me to take daily medication. I have read that the church is against drugs. Am I right in assuming the drugs the church is against are illegal narcotics and not prescription drugs? Thanks, TNG
