I am single mother of 5 on welfare. Since getting baptized, I have not went to the temple. I want to go. I have worked hard ending my coffee addiction. Now, I want to find out about other areas that I need to work on. Since I do not know. I get around $1300 a month from the county welfare cash aid program and food stamps. I am also on Section 8 that helps with my rent expense as it is based on my cash aid. My question is do I pay tithing on county welfare cash aid or is it only on earned income? If I am not required to pay tithing would I still be considered a full time payer?
