lisajo Posted February 6, 2006 Report Posted February 6, 2006 Ben there are people (2) on this bored who call Mormons anti mormons when we dont agree with what they say, i for one am Mormon and i think it really is sad to be called anti because i have my own oppinion on some thing, what they post is gospel and you can not have your own oppinion about any thing they say, cause if you do you are called anti mormon! or infiltrator etc. if we cant voice our own oppinion what is the point of this any way? Aristotle Posted February 6, 2006 Report Posted February 6, 2006 This statement appeared in the official Church newspaper for March 16, 1963, and says: "The Church is not opposing the John Birch Society or any other organization of like nature," and "that members of the Church are free to join anti-communist organizations." The statement also says that only one man, President David O. McKay, speaks for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on matters of policy. Quote
