Hi

I have this belief that i don't expect God too answer my prayers(or maybe I do unintentionally) but not much a suprise , He does and "always" gives me the answer when I least expect it , I sometimes give my prayers and I wonder to myself OK lord I TRUST YOU my faith is built on TRUSTING HIM but I don't expect any reply Unless/when he does I have learnt too rely on HIS time and HIS revelation when I told some friends from Church about this most commented that its really strange belief even one close friend mentioned "I am becoming a mainstream Christian"lol it sorted of put me out left of centre with that comment I have learnt to except things and move on but at that time I did feel like I was out of sync with something

thanks for reading:)

Don't let your friends bother you. Each of us receives revelation/inspiration/answers from God in different ways. Often, those answers come at unexpected times and in unexpected ways.

We pray, and then we must patiently await the answer. Sometimes it comes quickly, sometimes not for a long time. President Joseph F. Smith spent much of his life pondering what happened in the Spirit World, after his little daughter died. Two weeks before he died, he received what we now have as D&C 138. I'm glad he patiently awaited the answer, and kept praying and listening. Otherwise, we would be missing such a wonderful revelation from our own lives.
