hi i dont know if i am doing this the right way but i just wanted to share something. well there is this boy that i go to church with. he is very kind and generous and i really like him casually as a friend. when we see each other i can see the glow in our faces and my heart jumps. he makes me feel special. i know that we have a special connection. i dont want things to get out of hand as he is preparing to go on a mission. i still cant help it when i see him and i want to just avoid him but i cant. what do i do?

Leah what i mean by "special connection" is not any physical affection. No nothing like that, i dont know how to explain it. he dosent talk to me like how i've seen him talk with other girls. ffor eample when we are in semiary together we just click at the same time. he looks out for me. i really dont know what to say? :) umm theres a catch the "guy" had a very close relationship with another oung women. they have alot of history. the girl is a very great friend of my older sister, to my family. they havee broken up because he is preparring to go on a mission but she sttill loves him and it will be wrong if i get t know him nd stuff? ...

Nothing wrong with being friends. But now is not the time to try to turn him into a boyfriend. He needs to focus on his mission and leave the romantic relationships for later.
