medicmonkey Posted October 7, 2012 Report Posted October 7, 2012 My name is Melissa. I came on at a suggestion from a fellow sister/friend. I'm from Louisiana and have lived here most of my life. I'm a single 32 year old. I joined the church when I was 15. The sisters were surprised to hear an investigator on the answering machine. Lol. I'd seen two good looking guys in the town close by and my mother told me they were mormon missionaries. That she was one too. Shocker! A Mormon not a missionary. That would have been weird. Anywho. I was taught the discussions and knew I was hearing the truth. Love it. It's been a hard road for both me and my mom to get and stay active in the church. I love the gospel though and love the way it touchs my life. If I haven't bored you yet, good thing. I'm hoping to make some friends on here. Fav colors: pink and green Fav food: cheese and honeycrisp apples(not together, just couldn't decide) Fav scripture: Galatians 5:22 (And by their fruits shall you know right!) Quote
