  1. My sister and I dressed our mother. It was a very emotional task to get through, for us. We would cry, remembering things that she had done, and we would laugh, remembering things she had done. Knowing our mother, we KNEW she would not have wanted anyone else to do it. We, as daughters, would not have wanted anyone else doing this last, and very special service. It is a poignant and loving memory that we share, and are thankful that we had that opportunity.

  2. I think she meant it as a way to state that some women want pets but not children.

Oh...:D Well, they are less expensive to feed, clothe, maintain.

Plus their unconditional love and loyality. No rebellious teenage years.

    Ummmmm...I can see that. ;)

  3. In two wards that I've been in, if a month has five Sundays, they'll have a special musical sacrament meeting where people pick their favorite hymns

I would love doing that. The closest thing to that I have experienced is, my current ward sent out forms for us to choose 10 of our favorite hymns, and they would be incorporated into the Sunday program. So far this year I have heard only two of my choices :( and we are a small ward.

I realize that the choices are dependent upon the ability of the pianist...which is why, most likely, we sing the same selection over and over and over and over...
