While this is a rumor that is spread all over the place, the US Mint claims there is still 147.3million ounces of gold in Ft. Knox. IMO, I never know who to believe, the government or theorists. They can both seem wacky at times.

Elder John J Roberts is of Paradise, UT. However, he wrote about the prophesy in his journal. He was never told by Joseph Smith himself though. There is a reference of the journal excerpt in the Rudger Clawson Papers. In which, I found on the UofU online staff library.

Hello! I am not very good with introductions, but I will give it a shot. I was converted 3 years ago after almost a year of taking missionary lessons. I think I went through every missionary in the zone. However after moving to Utah I did not enjoy the church as much and became inactive. My wife and I finally moved back to the Atlanta area, so I am trying to get involved again. I joined the community because I am hoping to find ppl here that I cannot only socialize with, but share common views as well. I don't know if my wife will ever be active again in the church, and I am the only mormon on my side of the family. So I am limited to my ward. I am blessed though with a wonderful mother in law back in Utah in which we e-mail our views on the gospel back and forth. Everyone in wife's family are member of the church. As far as anything else goes, I like to read, playing with computers, music, and road trips to anywhere. My favorite writer is Jack Kerouac and favorite song writer is Bob Dylan. I enjoy every kind of music. Hope to see ya around the community....
