I wouldn't be surprised that this may something that falls under the Law of Witnesses. And as far as "Final Judgment" goes, there is no set period of time when this will happen. This has already occurred to many people. This is just the system of governance that the Lord has given for admittance into the Kingdoms of Glory, and there will be many judges of us, Joseph Smith, perhaps the Original Twelve, perhaps President Hinckley or Monson.
