I am new to this site. During the elections I would read political blogs now and then and was surprised to see how much hatred there was for Mormons and how many misunderstandings there are out there. Occasionally I've posted a testimony when I felt it was appropriate. I just wanted to be able to drop into a friendly forum for a little inspiration and fun.
It's good to know that there's a supportive community here, 'Mormon' or not.
My dad was Catholic and my mom was Christian Scientist - neither practiced. My brother is into "The Secret", one sister is 'Born Again' the other is an atheist. We're quite a bunch, but we love each other dearly and that's what I want to see more of in the world.
