My name is Sara, wife to Robert and mother to 5 active children 8 and under. I have been a member since 1991 but inactive for many years. I recently tried to become active again but our ward did not welcome us very warmly. My husband is not a mormon but is currently considering it, he was raised in a very anti-mormon family and it has taken a long time to even get him into church and then they treated him less then friendly.
I have never doubted my faith or had any issue with the church just fell away. For a period of time I did get into tattoos and have several. Not sure how the church stands on them but what is done is done. We are into natural parenting, we co-sleep, extended breastfeeding, babywearing, cloth diapering and are anti-vax. I try to live my life according to the teachings of the church but am not perfect.
We are in the process of relocating to Utah and I am looking for people in the area who could help me out with finding the best area to look. We have a hard time finding a place to rent here as soon as people find out how many children we have.
