  1. I completely agree that you shouldn't single date until after high school, and I've always thought that way. But man its tuff sometimes! for example, homecoming is coming up and the guys usually put such an effort into asking you all cute or w/e and i'm gonna feel soooooooo bad if someone asks me and i have to say no.. plus i'm on the committee so i'm gonna have to go anyway.. lol. but ya I've had situations where someone that i really liked asked me and i had to say no, and its really not as easy as it sounds! Any advice on how to break the news gently? Not just for me, but for everyone. (I'm no that worried about getting asked. ;) )

  2. I like guys that respect girls... like guys at my school are kinda jerks. and it makes me sad. lol. IMHO anyway... just be nice to them, but not like creepily nice.. there's a balance there. :D haha that probably was no help.. but yeah.. i tried...

  3. If you just wanna become friends (which is the start of any relationship lol) tell her hi.. then ask a totally random question. (I like: Do you prefer chicken or turkey?) lol. That usually gets a conversation started.

  4. Hey- this is tough. I know how you feel. Just ask her to stop being disrespectful. If she doesn't then tell her you can't hang out w/ some1 that says those kinds of things. She'll understand, and if she doesn't then just try to be a good influence. Sorry I'm not much help.

    Good luck!

  5. Yeah- I don't play any instruments but its so much fun hanging with guys that do. My one friend (tried) to teach me and my other friend how to play the Jaws theme on the Cello. lol. My friend got pretty good at it too! (I won't mention myself.. haha)

Also- simple is good. Don't try to be a smart-alek or act like your superior its just annoying. Simple and sweet.

(I think pick-up lines are hilarious! but not when they're actually used, my friends and I joke around w/ them- but don't do that until you know the chick a little better!)

  6. WOW! I ask people what their toothbrush color is... most don't actually know.. haha

I also ask what their favorite color or pastry is.. just completely random things like that. It gets people laughing and when you laugh you bond. Treat girls like friends, even if you really don't know them. (It works for girls in my experience anyway.. I just treated this dude that I liked like we were friends and now we are! lol) Hope this helps!

  7. I had a dream once (okay, actually a couple of times) that i was getting married. I agree w/ alexandra, the feelings are real. I woke up and just kept on thinking how strongly I felt toward the guy. (Who I never saw....) It was weird...

  8. I have a cell phone. I have to pay for it.. :P I like it though, mostly for texting. I can, sadly enough, text without looking. (shows what little life i have..) Cell phones aren't allowed at my school, they have to be turned off and in your backpack (we don't have lockers). If you need to call your parents though most teachers will let you use it as long as you stay in the classroom. (so you don't disturb others.) My parents don't have texting on their phones, but they will send me a text every once in awhile, who knows why.. Texting is a big deal here, my friend who didn't have texting got a bill for $54 because of all the texts he was getting. (Its 10 cents a text, his bill was normally $10!!!) I just got texting because everyone was trying to send me texts and it was cheaper to pay the extra $5 for unlimited than to try and tell them all to stop. lol. And now I'm hooked and i love texting. :D

  9. The Bishop in our ward said that they are equal. It seems to me as if the Eagle is harder though. Don't get me wrong, I love Personal Progress and it challenged me sooo much, but I finished it before I was even a Mia Maid. I worked hard in it and it was pretty intense but SOOO much fun! My brother, who is 15, hasn't finished his Eagle yet. (Then again, he's not really into scouting, but all the same...) So I have no idea, but I think it would be good if you challenged your boys to get their Eagles before their drivers licenses, to challenge you YW to get the PP before also.

My parents weren't really involved in my PP at all, which was fine- they had a lot on their plate. But it would have been nice to have someone to help with the hard stuff. (Like choosing ten-hour projects!)

So, yeah... thats all I can really say.
