  1. It is possible that when King David looked upon BathShebah she was in the process of a ceremonial cleansing, leaving the state of טמא (ritual impurity), FYI.
  2. I have spoken with many LDS and former LDS who have had doctrinal problems with Nephi killing Laban. They always quote the law in Exodus: Thou shalt not kill (or murder), but neglect to see the Jewish concept of law and justice that is at play, here. If my memory serves me correctly, the fact that Laban attempted to kill Lehi's sons would classify him as a murderer in Jewish law. ie: an attempted act is to be punished as though it had been carried out successfully.
