  1. There are many people who have strayed off the path Polly but the great thing is that but every detour will always bring you back to the route you want to go if you want it bad enough and, as a fellow traveller, I sense that you do. Just seek His footprints and pretty soon you'll realise that Christ is walking with you.
  2. PS sleepless, I love your penguin picture!
  3. Thank you for your welcome msgs all. I happen to like Jamie Oliver and have alot of respect for him coz he's up front and says it like it is. I really appreciate how he went on a crusade to try to make school meals better for the kids over here. Good nutrition is so important to the continued health and well being.
  4. When I joined the Redruth Branch 30 years ago, we were only a small unit but we are now a thriving ward. From little acorns mighty oaks do grow.... it just takes a few years! Welcome to the family.
  5. Welcome Hells to your new gospel family. I was the only member of my family in the Church for nearly 15 years before my sister joined the Church. My church family more than made up with the support I needed during those lonesome years when I couldn't get my own family to understand the choice I made when I chose the LDS church. When your family witnesses the change in you, they will eventually appreciate what the Church and the Gospel does for you in your life and, who knows, may even want a piece of the action for themselves. Take care and God Bless you. Enjoy your baptism.
  6. I've only just discovered this site but I'm so glad I did. Please forgive me if I don't get things right at first, I'm a newbie when it comes to chat rooms, forums, blogs etc... I'm looking forward to finding new (and hopefully some old) friends here. I've been a church member off and on since 1979. After a long period of inactivity I am slowly making my way back to the fold by starting from scratch. I could sure use some support with it though. Is there anyone out there who knows me. Perhaps someone who served a mission in Cornwall? I went by the name of Goodman and am now Kinver. Here's hoping.....:)
