You've been "investigating" the church for 11 mos...this includes visiting an actual ward, correct?  And no missionary offered to come visit you?

    No, not one time.

BTW...if you were investigating all aspects of the church you may have heard of splits.  In which a member goes out with the missionaries to do apts.  Also you may have found out that most missionaries have access to a car, either the one they are sharing with perhaps another set of missionaries or by calling another member.  Not only that, but if you were only interested in learning about the church, why did you not talk to the missionaries while you were at church?

I have talked to missionaries... at the ward meetings and on the street.

Or at the very least talk to them on the phone?

There isn't an answering machine on the telephone. If you don't "catch" someone at the office, there's no contact. I drove out to the building twice last week.

I personally don't think you "investigated" hard enough.  But not to fear...we have another month left!  So let's go, anything in particular you want to know about the church?  I'll be happy to talk to you, as I'm sure many others on here will be too.

I have a Gospel principle book.... unit one tomorrow or Tuesday?

Ser, Don't take this the wrong way but your so full of it I can spell it in California. Missionaries are very consistant in what they do and take great pride in it. They would find a ride to you if they had to just to make you feel welcome and to teach you. Oh and missionaries do have answering machines, heaven knows in my time I've left enough messages to just tell my boys to have a great day! Do me a favor,Ser, don't pretend to be something your not,it's not appealing. Oh and for the Chritian poll yeah the Church are Christians. So anyways,y'all have fun now y'hear?LOL.....

  3. I Prayed For You

I asked the Lord to bless you

As I prayed for you today,

To guide you and protect you

As you go along your way...

His love is always with you

    His promises are true,

And when we give Him all our cares

You know He will see us through.

So when the road you're traveling on

    Seems difficult at best...

    Just remember I'm here praying

And God will do the rest.

Do what you can, for who you

can, with what you have, and

    where you are...

    **I don't know who wrote,just that I found it,lol...**

  4. Linders,Linders,Linders,

I am one who knows how frustrating life can be and I know how tough you are so I have no doubt in my heart that you can handle it. Don't look at what is tough right now but focus on what isn't it. It's like playing a sport, you can't look at the losing game points but at the points you can still earn to win it,you know? Everything will be okay,I have faith in you hon:o)

    I totally disagree.

As I said, most of my friends are gay and bisexual. I've seen alot of human nature and though I don't agree with the lifestyle,I love my friends. You don't have to agree,no one does because I don't look for people to validate what I say when I know what I feel. Gay or straight,we all have one Father.

Yet we will cry more for the young woman who was born perfect and had her time on the earth as mostly beautiful experience and whose parents totally enjoyed her, than for the child misformed whose parents suffered greatly...as well as himself.

So if a man or woman was raped or molested as a child and goes and does the same to another should we cry for them and condone it?

Now if someone wanted to create a gay race, all they would have to do is make sure there was the 'gay amount' of zinc in pre-natal viatamins.

I do believe in conspiracies of this nature. Thus the great explosion of gays in our society since pre-natal vitamins became all the rage back in the 40s.

Life happens as do people. Gayness doesn't come in the form of a pill.
  8. I'd like to add my two cents in. That little girl should have never suffered and been hurt and died. The person who hurt her well I won't say how I feel about them. People like to throw around the word rape, funny isn't it. Comments like do you want to commit spirtual rape by asking a question, they aren't neccessary. Antishock,as always you come up with some great questions. Yes,God made Satan as He did Jesus and just like Cain and Abel they had their own version of sibling rivalry. One chose to do good and the other committed acts or pain and hatred. God gave Satan and Jesus the gift as well as us.IF bad things were never allowed to happen how would we know when the good ones ever did? Me personally I'd like to see the person who hurt that little girl suffer immensely but I also wonder what would drive a human being to commit such horrific acts on another. Were all prone to doing evil as well as good but it's up to us to decide which side of the fence were on.

  9. WHOA! Ok,first of all the majority of my friends are gay and bisexual. Secondly, thought I don't condone their behavior I do not consider them an error of God's works or errors at all. They are people, just like you and I and who are we to call anyone anything less. Are we that self righteous that we can call people mistakes? God doesn't make mistakes and if he did I'd be one of his biggest ones and I know this for a fact so how dare any of us belittle anyone else for their life choices. Christ himself died on a cross to forgive us of our sins and to allow us the gift of free will and the ability to make our own choices. They are not errors, mistakes, freaks of nature, they are human beings with emotions, fears and desires and the want to be loved by others and accepted as people and treated as we ourselves would like to be treated. And that my friends comes straight from the board blonde.
