  1. ... and indicated they would not mind actually hearing me teach. You are under no obligation to do so...but why seeming bruskness? Hearing your teach? And who taught you ...? Must finish now, it's 3.15 in the night here. Or in the morning, if you like. Bloody time is melting in our hands.
  2. This sounds like a hate post. I don't like what I'm reading. Reply With Quote And I don't like many things, either. I don't like people starving, I don't like people exploited, and I don't like this and that. But who asks me? Has one asked you? "Hate post" - your comment is also interpretable as a hate post. For me, e.g., it is. It always depends.
  3. Glad LDS members follow their prophet and know a lot better than that. __________________ But again, truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty you need only look into a mirror. LDS members follow the Allmighty's truth. And what about the Allmightys opinion regarding homosexuality? Which sources do we have? Shall I tell you? Even the Evangelical Church in Germany admits, that homosexuality is not admissibled even by the Holy Bible. It's against the will of God. And what do you mean by saying: "Glad LDS members follow their prophet and know a lot better than that." What does it mean? You simply want to offend them? In several boards / panels / forums here in Germany I've spoken against the legalization of homosexual marriage. That would be the next step in your mind, the next demand? This is not hate, but it's more to bring ones like you back to reality. See California. Prop. 8 supporters have won. You're on the river's wrong side, vom anderen Ufer, how we use to say here. And don't come with your bloody mirror allegory. Everybody is guilty in some ways, the one more, the other one less. And, sometimes it depends on the mirror (remember one fairy tale...).
  4. Oh and welcome to the site. thanks a lot, "Soulsearcher". (already found it? Your own soul?) I don't know if there is anythyng wrong with you, but I like to spend the whole day with my feet in my mouth. Everyone here in Hamburg does it. Everyone here in Germany. We don't have anything else to do. We are like that. So, now that you might have got an imagination about us, let me reply: Better your feet in your mouth than doing things you seem to have some kind of affinity to. Ha, ha. Guess what I mean? I know this is hard on the edge, but you started it. And now get it back.
  5. And concerning demographics: one day, not so far away in future, when their oil recources will have ended, an when water will be more than gold in their areas, then, then they will become again as what they have startet once in the past: bedouines. Poor bedouines. I believe there will be a demographic self-regulation process one day not far away in the future. I won't be too afraid of pessimistic demographic "forecasts" in connection with religious developement. Let's wait and see. I don't think the bad luck should be on the right ones. There is One who cares.
  6. those that I know are gay...in general tend to hate Christians...too bad as I do not hate them...I pray for their salvation Don't do that. Let them pray to the Allmighty themselves. Let them ask for forgiveness by themselves. Let them find to God by themselves. Will you pray for an animal? Why should you pray for a man that behaves like an animal? I won't. And I'm convinced that no man should claim the right to ask the Allmighty for forgiveness for those ones who have sinned in such an abominable way. The body of a man is the temple of the Lord. Those ones have tainted this temple.
  7. Clarifying my questions with one click? And the spirit is anointing from the Holy Spirit? Your church had brought me away more from God / Elohim than a church could had done. You're a priest? Here in Germany they don't call themselves "priests", but Pastoren. The whole membership of the evangelican church (ev.-luth.) cals itself "priesthood". As a collective. I left your church about twenty-five years ago. And I've never felt sad about this. What can You offer to me? Nice-guys (gays) in your priesthood? Thanks a lot. Don't need that.
  8. Sorry, but what do you want to say? What's your message? What's your spirit?
  9. I remember a public execution in Saudi Arabia, after one man dared to fall in love with one princesse of the royal family. It's about twenty years ago. He and his friend(s) got amputated their arms (!) (by physicians) and, set under drugs, then got beheaded. Nice county. I never will forget about that. It was here in Germany reported at that time. And women? They could get stoned to death or hanged, like in Iran (there was one video on you tube that showed the real hanging of one women and two men at the same time). The woman was sentenced, because she had sexual relationship with another woman (lesbian). Nice countries. Nice faith. Nice guys.
  10. Hello, there. This is my first posting in one of the LDS forums. I live in Hamburg, Germany, and English is not my native language, so please give mercy if there occur faults in writing or meaning. It's only my school English and I've never been in an English spoken land. I've been in some forums here and liked to discuss about Mormonism. And I've experienced rejections, misunderstanding, offending, and hate against this religion. And I've experienced that many people here (in my home country) have lost their believe in God, the Allmighty. They have lost their faith. There ist s.th. they believe in, but many of them are constructing their own individual way of what they call faith. I'm from the evangelical-luth. church, I mean, I was baptized ev.-luth. shortly after I was born. My father was a sailor, and he was not at home for long terms, and so it was my mother who brought me to church and let me baptized as a Christian, and she was convinced, and with all her love convinced to do the right thing. I'm sure she was. I left that church many years ago, in 1980, I think. Why? I never went to the church on Sunday or never joined any celebration. They didn't mean anything to me, and I left that church (I had to let it attested by the authority) in the end. Many years later I stepped into contact with missionaries of the LDS. I've learned a bit about Mormonism by time, and I've received back what I had lost once ago; my faith. And my question is, why all those members of christian denominations reject Mormonism and why even those ones, who dont't believe in God, who are non-believers or whatever behave so offending and aggressive against Mormonism. Here in Germany they call it a sect. They warn you not to get captured by them, and they were no Christians and so on. Give me some statements from you. And let's start a discussion about this subject. And if you have any questions about me, I'll answer honestly. Thanks in advance.
