  1. So do I. But I haven't got a gun for self-defense. And I don't have a dog.
  2. Yes. And I have.
  3. No, ne'er, ne'er. The Allmighty might give s.o. a similar appearence, but that one might not be the same in persona. And if that one was, the Allmighty might him decided to become a better one. Yeah.
  4. And did those feet in ancient time walk upon England's mountains green, and was the holy lamb of God on England's pleasent pastures seen? And did the Countenance Divine shine forth upon our clouded hills? And was Jerusalem builded here, among these dark satanic mills? I've learned this texture cause I wanted to learn English. And I also learned "Rule, Britannia", but "Jerusalem is my favorite English song. One of the best songs in the world, ...I should admit.
  5. You're right. But who invented it really? Angles, Saxonians, Romans, Islandics, Wikings, Scots (a bit) and all that has lead to the modern English language. And in American English it's been enriched by German, and Spanish and French. Won' ya gim'e right? In hundred years or later they will talk and write like that. British English will be gone. German will be gone. But Chinese will stay. Or they'll change to English, an' in fact both languages are som' kin' of similar (i.e. pronounciation). Wait and see. But of course it won't be our problem at all, as we'll be six feet under , then.
  6. I like your words and the way you're talking. You're honest. I#m not LDS yet, but it's impressing to me how you described your "going through the (e)motions" or denominations in the past. They're all wrong, and it's not easy to find the right way. The faith is the real key. Wish you all the best.
  7. Quantum field theory. Higher dimensions. We are simply an aspect of our being, like the top of an iceberg, but most of us invisible within our earthly existence. We can decide if we want to be good or bad, it's like an exam we're going through. We#re planning our next home, and it might be in the near of God or parsecs or dimensions away and in the outer darkness. Steven Hawking says, there might be no necessarity of one God as a creator, 'cause the universe might have come up by itself, from (higher dimensional) source or whatever. I say, there is one God, but not easily to find; and the faith is the key.
  8. Northern Germany. English is not my native language, but German, as I am German. But I was good at English when I went to school, 'cause I liked it. But a fool at mathematics; I should admit.
  9. What can I say? You're right.
  10. Each of us is a ghost and our existence is a mirror of our higher existing.
  11. Hello, this is my first time I am going to step into an American spoken forum. What can I say? How are ye doin' ? :)
