  1. Yes, we will be beautiful. But, by what standards? Not by the standards we currently understand. We will know what is to be fully content with our forms and others will see us for the beautiful creatures that God made us. We are promissed absolute happiness and unsurpassed joy. I have never heard of anything to be ugly in heaven. Mortal beauty is so fleeting. I have recently been connecting with old high school friends. Some of these people were drop dead gorgeous and now; well, lets just say, I'm not looking too bad after all. The point is, beauty is hard to quantify. We will be perfect and this would suggests that none of us will be fat or skinney as niehter of these are perfect states. Legs will be straight and teeth will be like wise. The imperfection you see in your body today will be righted. Thus, we will all be beautiful as the human body, in it's perfected form is, in fact, beautiful.
  2. My husband and I are nervous over this very issue. Our ward is growing fast. We have an awsome Bishop who married us and Baptized me. We know if the ward splits, we will no longer be a part of our current ward. We are considering buying our first home within this next year and this a major factor in deciding where we will be looking.
  3. Yah, I was Baptized there but, go to the Granit Falls ward. The Granit Falls building doesn't have a baptistry.
  4. Time for the Bishop and I to have a little sit down, chit chat.
  5. Judominja, Wow! No wonder our Bishop wasn't real forthcoming with the information. Holy smoke! No one told me I'd spend eternity as a second wife... That may take sometime to digest.
  6. We have an awsome Bishop. Though he's a bit slow with information at this point. I guess I need to learn to be patient and let things move along as they will. If it were up to me, I'd try to learn it all in a few nights.
  7. I'm new to the church and have much to learn. My husband was previously married in the Temple. What does this mean as it applies to him and I now? Our Bishop has been talking about sealing. Yet, my husband is still sealed to his exwife and has a son.
  8. Lots to learn, right? I come from a Catholic background but, spent 25 years investigating other Christain faiths. The next goal is the Temple:willworkforgold:
  9. Hi! I'm new to both the church and the site. I was Baptized on the 23RD of April by Bishop Gregory Putnam in Marysville, WA.
