Sure dude. Dead people come back to life days later, but the earth isn't flat. If you don't believe that the earth is flat, you won't get to go to the super bestest p ce in the sky after you are dead.

Just keep telling yourself that. People live on the moon. You go with that. God lives on a giant crystal ball planet near the star Kolob too.

What about if an ice breathing robot were to posess a fire breathing dragon, underwater, during a lunar eclipse? Maybe that is what makes people be homoosexual. And what about if a man is going to be reincarnated as a female platypus in the next life? That could explain it as well. Thanks for the wisdom, Peace.

If that's the sort of mental gymnastics that you need to use to justify the insane teachings of your "prophet", then yes. It is entirely possible. Or maybe he was just a basket case. If physical gymnastics are good for developing strength in the body, then these kind of gymnastics must be just as good for developing strength in the spirit. :) Is twisting your body into a pretzel a good thing? If so, then I guess you are right.

Only after he was dragged out of his bed in the middle of a cold night with his family and tarred and feathered. I guess everyone has their breaking point...even a prophet of God...whoopty do. No dear. Perhaps you should review what he did to the Minister that dared *gasp* not believe that JS was a prophet. Why don't you just tote out all the proof...and while you are at it, tell us the source...and make sure that source has no ulterior motive....sterling, perfect back ground check, and was a better person than the one he is slandering. Okay? Proof of all of the above. Thank you. It's in the HC. I don't have my resources with me, so you'll have to look it up for yourself at your ward's library tomorrow. Or you can wait for a couple of days.

So JS was guilty of teaching falsehoods as truth, but that isn't lying because he did not actually know that he was spouting off BS. I can agree with that. I also think that he very well may have thought that he had gold plates and that he was really translating them by sticking his face in a hat that had magic rocks. I think that JS might have had a psychological disorder.

Why haven't I left yet?

Can I take Peace with me? Go. Paul O Okay. Bye.

Like Traveler stated...it could be pushed right under your noses and you would still work at finding a way to claim they were fake. Thank you Peace: For some people there still is not enough evidence that the world is not flat. Go figure. The Traveler. I once heard that the world is flat, and I have faith that it is. That makes it true.

Shall I hie to Kolob, or go live on the moon? That's your choice. I'm not going to help you. Be gone. Paul O Do I have to take Peace's strawman with me? She mangled it pretty good.

Like Traveler stated...it could be pushed right under your noses and you would still work at finding a way to claim they were fake. Somehow, I don't think that will be the case.

Is kicking that strawman doing it for you?

For once I agree with you 100 %! B) I'll bet that those science loving atheists don't even believe that men live on the moon and dress like quakers. Boy are they stupid!!!!

Like Native Americans being semitic? It ain't over until the fat lady sings. Scientific data is always up for change. You guys and your fancy dancy scientific conclusions think you have it all figured out. Well, your wrong. Paul O Perhaps you have a better way to determine this than DNA testing? How about faith? Faith makes it possible to cure diseases and put men on the moon and make your car go. Perhaps faith will determine that the Native American Indians are actually semitic.

Ohh, those silly atheists. They don't believe in our fictitious deities. They are so dumb. HAHAHAHAHA!

Joseph Smith used to like to get physically violent with people who said things that made him angry. Would that be an adequate substitute for nose biting?
-
I think that the discovery of ancient texts written on metal plates that backed up the BoM story would be a pretty good evidence. It seems silly that only one person at a time would write on only one set of plates, and that would be the only historical record of millions of people spanning thousands of years.

....and still not a rational response to be found.

Joseph Smith was a liar. He said people live on the moon. The don't. Was he not serious? Joseph Smith made up a LOT of things. It's interesting to see his followers pick and choose which ones they can justify believing in, and which ones are just too far out there. Once a mormon realizes that the dude was just totally full of crap, it's no wonder they are pissed off about having belonged and given money to the organization that JS made up.
