  1. Last Sunday I was visiting my grandmother and decided to got to her church. There were several none theological differences I noticed.

    1. They do a lot of standing.

    2. Their dress code seems a little more casual.

    3. For the most part, only one speaker.

    4. People tended to say "amen" a lot.

    5. Lots of praying.

Overall, a rather interesting and enjoyable experience.

  2. I mean this in all seriousness, you should really see a therapist. I've never encountered anyone who believes everything on the internet and is unable to decide for himself what is true and good and what isn't. It sounds to me you need some tools and help from a professional on how to make decisions for yourself as well as how to deal with anxiety that these internet statements cause in you.

This looks like a good site to assist you to find the tools and help you need. freementalhealth.com

    Uh... Thanks.

  3. And someone posted this comment:

I just prayed for everyone that has viewed and will view this. Nothing we make to "bring reverence and glory to God" will ever be enough. Believe in Christ, and like scripture says, He dwells within the believer. This is the sacred, mist high place, us. Let us consistently be in repentance and only read God's Word, the Old and New testaments. We are not to add to or take away from scripture, so God spake, this includes Joseph A. Smith and his run in the devilish influence to start a "reformed" movement. Don't be fooled. Satan often comes as a

    bringer of light.

Are they saying we're sinning by reading the Book of Mormon? These kin of comments make me uncomfortable.

  4. No doubt 1, 2, 3, 6 & 7 are poorly photoshopped. 4 & 5 seem real enough but who knows. I don't trust a whole lot on the internet. And with 5 out of 7 images obviously photoshopped, the rest can be thrown in the garbage as fraud.

Why all the interest in this man?

I don't know. I guess I have a tendency to fear the worst. And usually when people claim that Christ is returning, they always make it sound more frightening then comforting.

  5. To anyone who has not read this series, I highly recommend that you do. The Redwall books are among the most well written books I've ever read. The narration is almost poetic in its descriptions, and most of the book have a different cast of characters, but your sure find a favorite.

Sadly, the author died back in February, but he left 22 books to chose from.

Are there any fans of Redwall here?

  6. I really don't know how to describe it, so I'll post this from her YouTube profile.

This is one interview that I had to cut into seven segments to fit on youtube, but it is otherwise, unedited. My sister interviewed Christopher Elson in 1992. My sister was murdered in a horrible van explosion in 1999 in San Francisco. I just found this tape. It all makes sense to me now. It is apparent by what's on this video, that this man is the Second Coming and now Judgment Day is here. May our prayers be answered and may we meet in God's Grace. God Bless you all.

    She also says this

Do a google search of 'van explosion pacifica', the articles on my sisters death will pop up. As I said, my sister was killed in 1999 in a van explosion in San Francisco. The case is cold. There was much assumption, but it was wrong. My sister filmed this video before her death. On the video she says the date is 1992. Whether that's right or not, it has to be before she died, which is 1999 and that still makes the comments made by Christopher Elson to be chillingly accurate.

    Now for some sample videos.

Personally, I don't know what to believe. I mean, on the one hand this guy could be a nut.

On the other, he may be telling the truth.

This is also a reason why I joined this site: to get the thoughts and opinions of those whose faith is strong and thinking rational.

But trust me, this is just a small reason why I joined this site.
