There's always the best question to ask yourself: WHAT WOULD JESUS DO ... in this circumstance? I know he wouldn't be upset or angry, and I'm sure he overlooked a lot of things in his time here upon this earth ... because of his unconditional love. You've told her that food and drink aren't appropriate ... so she knows. I think the best way to handle it - is to let her make the changes ... and that's by loving her, setting an example and befriending her so she feels welcome and wanted.
