If you look at it this way the money you are receiving from SSA was already tithed if you have been a tithe payer your entire life. The money you worked for putting in your "bank" to receive your SS ck later in life. Meaning... when I worked for years I put money from my ck in SS. That money each ck I received I tithed on it. So if you tithe with what you are getting from the SSA admin in my opinion you are tithing TWICE. Now if you are new member and never tithed etc:.. that is diff. Again discuss w/ your bishop.
