As Isaiah is prophesying about the redemption of Zion, it is noteworthy that one meaning of the idiom “to see eye to eye” is to be of the same mind e.g. 7:18. D&C 84:96-102 explains that all who remain on the earth at that time “shall be filled with the knowledge of the Lord and shall see eye to eye” and shall sing the song of Zion’s redemption together, as in Alma 36:26. Imagine the overwhelming joy which shall be felt at the reunion of all righteous when the city of Enoch returns and “we receive them into our bosom, and they shall see us; and we will fall upon their necks, and they shall fall upon our necks, and we will kiss each other And there shall be mine abode, and it shall be Zion, which shall come forth out of all the creations which I have made; and for the space of a thousand years the earth shall rest.” (Moses 7:63-64)
