  1. Thanks for all the comments that all of you have made. My wife and I have found out on the web, that members of the Church should not smoke or drink, we have already on that course, and have now very close to giving both of those habits up. In addition we also found that females should dress modestly. We have both changed some of our wardrobe to do that. After praying carefully, we have decided that we will be looking at getting missionaries to visit us at our home, and to start attending Church, which we are now looking forward to doing. What will happen after that could depend on how it goes, and the reaction that we get from members.
  2. One problem I have is that I went to church with my wife, I would be wearing a skirt suit, blouse and skirt, or a dress dependent on the time of year, which I am sure you would agree, would be out of place in a men's meeting. I have seen posts, correct me if I am wrong, I could not be baptised if I was still taking hormones (which I am not, my breasts are the perfect sie for me now), or after I have a sex change operation, which I am not planning. I am percectly happy as I am, a male, but with most of the charateristics, and living as a female. My wife are keen to join the church, but I am not sure that I could, if I was restricted in any way.
  3. But the main problem, is I would have to go into the Priests meeting, and not the sisters meeting, which I believe is called Releif Society.
  4. I am in a similar position to echosparks. My wife and i have considered joining your Church, having read quite a bit on the web. We have been happily married for 5 years, but for the last 4 I have been living as a female, and have changed my name from my birth name to a female number which reflects the way I now live. I must point out that although I have taken female hormones, which helped to develop my breasts, I have no thoughts in my mind to change sex. From all of the threads which I have read, we would not be able to join. We do not want to waste the time of your Church missionaries, by letting them teach us, if it would not go any further, My wife and I are 100% in agreement, that as I live as a female, would always go to church, wearing either a dress or Blouse and Skirt, that if I cannot attend the same meetings as my wife, we will have to go to another Church, where we can be together. This is a shame, because we have read so much, and know the church is true, that if we cannot be baptised, or attend the same meetings, we will not join. Is there any advice that anyone can offer, although likely to be similar to that given to echosparks. Many thanks anyway.
