  1. You may have missed when I said after the apostles were dead. If you would look at the dates of each book, you may understand instead of guessing.
  2. You may have missed when I said after the apostles were dead. DEATH. In the ground, buried. Body decaying.
  3. God told us He would keep His God-breathed Word Holy and He has. So how do you guys explain the Book of Abraham and that horrible mistranslation of hyroglifs?
  4. After the death of the apostles, the cannon closed. See after this point we have been equipped to do all that our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ has called us to. We are not left alone, orphans, no. We have the indwelling Holy Spirit with us always (so much better than a temp thing others claim). 16 aAll Scripture is 1inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for 2training in righteousness; 17 so that athe man of God may be adequate, bequipped for every good work. The Holy Spirit also leads us in truth.

  6. The Dead Sea Scrolls show the imaculate shape our Holy Bible is in from thousand years ago. It's a wonderful thing!
  7. The purpose of the Bible is not for a bunch of erroneous teaching, but to equip each believer to do the things we have been called upon by Jesus Christ to do. We are given the mind of Christ, the Word of God written on our hears and the indwelling Holy Spirit. This also includes the 66 Books of the Bible cannon. 2 Timothy 3:16–17 16 aAll Scripture is 1inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for 2training in righteousness; 17 so that athe man of God may be adequate, bequipped for every good work.
  8. Where is that in the Bible? Lehi. I'll ask for the 10th time.
  9. I have no idea what you are even trying to say. The Bible never said that all prophecy comes from Torah.
  10. Jesus also prophesized in the New Testament. However, the canon closed long ago, as seen by the carbon dating of the Dead Sea Scrolls. The problem is JS wasn't in the Dead Sea Scrolls.
  11. You guys love to share your opinions on everything. I will say that, interesting the things that stick in a new person's mind. But I would challenge you to join the discussion on the 1st Century apostasy, as it is called. If you'd like to contribute something meaningful.
  12. I believe I have addressed the points of other posters so far. I'm sure they will remind me if I have not.
  13. So I have to run off for an hour or so, but will be checking back this afternoon to see if anyone has added anything. Have a blessed day. Talk soon.
  14. Sit there by yourself. You do not exist.
  15. Can I ask a separate question? Can I ask that Jane no longer post to me? I specifically said in a previous post I did not want to talk to her, nor was I going to respond to her posts. I would like her to not post anymore in this thread Is that possible? I'm asking because you are a moderator of this forum.
  16. No, I want the exact verses. In Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and/or Peter and Paul. All of them you feel make your case. Including; book, chapter and verses.
  17. We call it a 'creed' because it IS NOT scripture. You can read the definition of creed I posted earlier. No. You talk to much craziness without knowing basic Christianity. I do not want to talk with you at all. You know better than to call a creed, scripture. We've discussed this before, but right out of the gate, a lie.

  20. No Biblical evidence, so I am moving on. You cannot prove me in error with no Biblical evidence. That's not how you challenge a Christians doctrine.
  21. That is a flat out lie. And you know it. Now I am calling your truth and character in to question as you persist with this lie after being corrected 3 times (previously, not on this forum)
  22. I have posted definitions of what a 'creed' is so you can understand that it is not scripture.
  23. Jane, Jane, Jane, What you do deny is that we will be in the highest heaven with Jesus Christ for eternity. That is what every Christian wants, so it is so misleading how you spin this one. The other thing is you have NO IDEA WHAT A CREED IS. I think I'll get you a definition off the internet maybe you can understand. Hold on. A creed (also confession, symbol, or statement of faith) is a statement of the shared beliefs of a religious community in the form of a fixed formula summarizing core tenets. creed play noun \ˈkrēd\ Simple Definition of creed : a statement of the basic beliefs of a religion : an idea or set of beliefs that guides the actions of a person or group noun 1. any system, doctrine, or formula of religious belief, as of adenomination. 2. any system or codification of belief or of opinion. 3. an authoritative, formulated statement of the chief articles ofChristian belief, as the Apostles' Creed, the Nicene Creed, or theAthanasian Creed.
