An relatively recent convert who became a member in late 2016.  I was an evangelical for 40 years before becoming a member of the church.  I have 20 years of service in the military with the US Army and USAF.  I am a father of two boys and two girls.  I work as an IT contractor at Hill AFB, UT.  My favorite scriptures are Isaiah 63:1-3, II Nephi 33:10 and II Nephi 25:23.  The church leaders whose teaching I appreciate most are Elders Uchtdorf and Holland.  They are almost as good as CS Lewis!  Favorite quotes include:  "You have not failed until you give up."  Elder Uchtdorf  "You can accomplish a lot more by having a kind word to say about your own faith than you can by having a disparaging one to say about someone else's."  Joseph Smith  "Being a Christian means forgiving the inexcusable in others, because God has forgiven the inexcusable in you."  CS Lewis.
