Hi I have a question. I know now we have to be worthy to be entitled to or receive revelation. My question is how worthy is that? Obviously not perfect, is it temple recommend worthy? Is it trying your best but not temple worthy? (Addictions can hinder that for sure) what is the guidance here? I ask because I made a serious mistake with my fiance and I’m in a situation where it is extremely inconvenient to go confess to a bishop and deal with this. Air Force related. Will I not have the Holy Ghost for the next few months or so? Can’t receive revelation? I really need that over this next time period

Hi my brother is going to marry a girl that has been married twice before with 2 kids. She struggled a lot with a broken family and inactivity. I’m a little worried about him marrying her, I was just curious. Has anyone ever heard of an apostle of general authority marrying a woman that has been married before or had a promiscuous past? I know it’s a long shot, but it’d be comforting to know that leaders of the church have taken the risk before.
