    I sure like people that help others out so Im not offended, but I fear the ones who have given me this money may be offended if they notice me building a new house, or buying a nicer car, or whatever. I like Dave Ramsey also... I dont mind living like nobody else right now to live like nobody else later. I live in a modest house so I dont have to spend all that money in interest, heating, etc. Id hate to have to buy a Lexus and a new house to get people to quit giving money to the guy in the little old house.

    How could I get people to stop treating me like im poor... I am poor compared to them... But have enough money to have a healthy savings and everything paid off but the house. Or am I poor? The average house price is probably around 250K in the ward.... I am probably in the lowest priced house in the ward at 90K. I feel really wierd about people giving me money... sure anyone can use money, but if people know my financial situation would they be giving me money?

    What kind of work do you do? How old are your kids? Of course if too personal that's okay. Just trying to learn abit more about you. I am a Lab Technition for an aerospace company(I break things)... Although my degrees are in Automotive and Technical Sales and have nothing to do with my line of work. I got a 3 yr old boy and a 1 yr old girl.

    Wow this board seems to have alot of traffic. I got plenty of responses fast. Intro: Im a 30 yr old dude(married) with 2 kids. Went to Texas on my mission. I enjoy cars, kayaking, snowmobiles, and camping.

    I live in a ward with a decent amount of rich people. This year I made almost 40K. I have a family of 4. For some reason people in the ward keep asking me if Im doing ok for chistmas and such. Last year I made only $25K and was barely scraping by... so I feel rich this year. The relief society leader dropped off some money today... and told us someone in the ward wanted to wish us a merry christmas. What should I do with this money?
