  1. There is an inservice training video that was available to Primary leaders about 12 years ago called Behold Your Little Ones, it had some quotes that may be close to that. Also, a talk by President Hinckley, Behold Your Little Ones, may also be helpful. There was also an interview with Sister Shumway when she was the General Primary President that stated the following:"Primary also has a strong inservice program to train Primary teachers in teaching skills. With so many new converts and young mothers, their first call often is to teach in the Primary. Ensign: Are there any difficulties presented by having inexperienced teachers involved in teaching children? Sister Shumway: No. We trust the inspiration of the bishops. One area of concern, of course, is that when any teacher doesn’t understand a gospel principle, the child usually can’t correct her. Instead, he’ll believe her. So we think it’s very important that new teachers get the best orientation possible to assure that they always teach correct doctrine. " Hope this helps.
  2. Again, a perfect article to answer an ever debated question... Thank-you GVR. You rock!
  3. "It is in the order of heavenly things that God should always send a new dispensation into the world when men have apostatized from the truth and lost the priesthood," Joseph Smith explained. But the dispensation which he was called to direct consisted of more than a restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with its saving ordinances. In explaining"the extent or authority" of this last dispensation, David W. Patten said: "It means this, that the dispensation of the fullness of times is made up of all the dispensations that ever have been given since the world began, until this time" The Dispensation of the Fullness of Times (that is, The Dispensation of the Fulness of Dispensations) is a composite dispensation, comprising all the keys, powers, authorities, and revelations that have been committed to man in all former ages of time. It is to be a dispensation of consummation and of fulfillment. The Prophet (Joseph) thus declared: "The dispensation of the fulness of times will bring to light the things that have been revealed in all former dispensations." Again he said, "God purposed in Himself that there should not be an eternal fulness until every dispensation should be fulfilled and gathered in one, and that all things whatsoever, that should be gathered together in one in those dispensations unto the same fulness and eternal glory, should be in Jesus Christ." Finally, as he referred to the program of the last dispensation, Joseph Smith said: "It is necessary in the ushering in of the dispensation of the fulness of times, which dispensation is now beginning to usher in, that a whole and complete and perfect union, and welding together of dispensations, and keys, and powers, and glories should take place, and be revealed from the days of Adam even to the present time."But even this is not the full extent of the nature and power of the Dispensation of the Fulness of Times, for there were to be things revealed in this last dispensation that pertain exclusively to it and its program. Having made the statement last quoted in the paragraph above, Joseph Smith wrote: "And not only this, but those things which never have been revealed from the foundation of the world, but have been kept hid from the wise and prudent, shall be revealed unto babes and sucklings in this, the dispensation of the fulness of times." For this reason the Lord declared in a revelation: "For I deign to reveal unto my church things which have been kept hid from before the foundation of the world, things that pertain to the dispensation of the fulness of times."
