First, loosen both side tags. Place the robe on your shoulder. Tighten or fasten the tags on the opposite side of the waist from the shoulder it is placed upon and get those as snug as comfortable so that the robe will not slip from your shoulder. Last, adjust the inner tie to accommodate the tightness of the outer tie. When done, the robe should be tight together on the side farthest from your shoulder and very loose on the side of your waist directly under the shoulder upon which your robe is resting. This will keep it up.
