  1. HI, I am a member of the LDS church in Seattle. I fellowship and am a friend of a wonderful new member that was born in Sudan and was relocated to the United States during the civil wars. She believed she was an orphan for the last 15 years. Through facebook, she recently found out her mother is still alive and residing in a small village in Southern Sudan. She has been in contact with her mother and she is interested in getting a book of mormon in Swahili. Also, our Relief Society is hoping to adopt this village to provide some needed items. We are unsure how to go about this. We are hoping to contact the Mission President in Uganda if that is appropriate, to find the best way to do this in regard to purchasing, shipping and delivery to this village. Also, we wonder if any members in Juba would have the ability to contact the mother in this village. Hoping to get some good leads! Thank you, Nelly in Seattle
