Brother-K Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 Hi Everyone ! I am confused about one thing I am facing right now, I found a lot of information on my distant-ancestors and I am pretty sure that I belong to the family tree , but I cannot connect my branch to the tree because of absence of information on my branch. Can I still do the work for those older folks? Also If I can do the work, what is the priority the oldest first and then younger, or the other way around? In between them 1000 years ! And the last name is Kashkarov , for just in case some body is looking for the same family. Thanks a lot for all responds! Quote
Iggy Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 What does your Branch/Ward and/or Stake Family History Consultant say? Go to them first, and have your data with you. Quote
BenRaines Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 You can check but I believe that records over 500 years old are not considered reliable in most cases and there is a special department in the church geneology department that works on names that are older than 500 years old. We do have a geneology person here in the forums who is a church missionary on a geneology mission. You could send her a PM, her name is Josie. Ben Raines Quote
