I dont believe in the 2012 thing its pretty farfetched to me.

Why is the “2012” thing farfetched? Your opening post said there would be an earthquake sometime between 2012 and 2014. I suspect I have your comments confused.

Also, an observation. The dream, if located in Utah, is geographically impossible.

Utah‘s geography is mountainous, and nothing is going to make the mountains disappear, resulting in a flat landscape. That is simply impossible.

The Wasatch fault slips in a primarily vertical direction, with the mountains rising relative to the valley floor. In fact, a major earthquake would actually create higher and large mountains, not level them.

However, let’s use a hypothetical, and say the mountains were leveled by an earthquake. Soil liquefaction (the soil turns into a “liquid”), would cause everything around the mountains, and for hundreds, perhaps thousands of miles, to be sucked in as the mountains flattened on top of it. That is how huge our mountains are. I’m not really sure how to describe it, because it is an impossible scenario.

There would be no half-sunk houses. There would be no sunk houses. There would be no houses period.

There would be no people at war or chaos because there would be no people. Nothing would be left.

Also, such a catastrophic event would very likely trigger the Yellowstone Park volcanoes, as they are, relatively, geographically next door to us. The result would be that most of the western half of the country would be totally destroyed, or close to it.

I am not trying to be rude, and I believe you are dead serious. I also admit I am a total skeptic--always have been, and always will be, so you can choose to not take me seriously.

But, for the sake of argument, let’s say the dream is true. Then the events of the dream would have to be located somewhere else, and not in Utah. It just is not geographically possible.

So, again, what is farfetched about the “2012 thing”? Did I read something wrong?

woah!!! sounds like science fiction! but it might be possible.

lets wait and see what the prophet says in the future about that. I am pretty sure the Lord will show him how to instruct us if we remain loyal to the Lord's commandments. =)
