Guest TheProudDuck Posted September 24, 2004 Report Posted September 24, 2004 From England's Guardian newspaper:"The Church of England said yesterday that police counter-terrorism operations were directed disproportionately against Muslims and risked alienating them."In other news, a CoE bishop was recently spotted sitting with a shotgun in a duck blind he'd erected in Trafalgar Square. When questioned why, he answered that hunting where the ducks were risked alienating ducks. Quote

Obligatory smilie? Yeah, you know, like this --------> or this ------> or this ----> It helps those who don't know that you are joking, especially when it isn't obvious. Quote
Guest TheProudDuck Posted September 24, 2004 Report Posted September 24, 2004 OK, to clarify: From England's Guardian newspaper: ( = straight face) "The Church of England said yesterday that police counter-terrorism operations were directed disproportionately against Muslims and risked alienating them." In other news, a CoE bishop was recently spotted sitting with a shotgun in a duck blind he'd erected in Trafalgar Square. When questioned why, he answered that hunting where the ducks were risked alienating ducks. Quote
