It's compact, nice read cover and has my name engraved in gold on it. The text inside is really well indented so it's not all just aligned in one way if you know what I mean. That's a hude advantage to me because I used to always have trouble with this old NKJV I used to have because all the text was not indented in one way. It's word-for-word and put together by conservative not liberal Christians. Any translation is going to have issues. Quote

Not using the LDS version of the King James bible you will miss out on all the cross references to other LDS scripture. Ben Raines Quote

Wingnut Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 Aesa, I don't think it matters much which version you use. If you later get a standard set of LDS scriptures, you'll probably end up with a KJV, but in the meantime, read away! Quote
