I found a neat little stove that would make a perfect addition to any ones survival kit. It is called the White Box Stove and is sold at a number of locations and on Ebay. It burns almost any type of alcohol fuel and is used mainly for boiling water. Check it out on their web site:

now THAT is an awesome looking stove. I am, like,so going to get one.

In all seriousness, yes it does look like a good stove, and it may even beat the trangia burner I currently keep in my 72 hour kit. I live in a mostly forested area, so wood isn't exactly in short supply, but if I had to leave the local area, then I'd need a compact, versatile stove.

Being in Scotland, I wonder if this stove will run off of Scottish Whiskey.
