I am a member. I am not going to argue my membership her. I was born and raised. I am currently serving as a ward clerk and I have an ACTIVE RECOMMEND. I served a mission in Boston and my family has deep roots in the church.

This is a question that bothered me and I don't want to have an argument. This is a sincere question. Only because you don't have an answer doesn't mean I am a troll.

I do have an answer.....but...I think you need to read and study and find out for yourself like I did.....I even suggested reading a book. Joseph Smith was a human....he made mistakes....people get hung up about things instead of studying the Gospel....

when i read this the other day i was shocked, so i just wanted to clarification about it. i had never heard about in church.

i have an active temple recommend.

I think you mean "current" recommend? It's my understanding that many of Joseph's marriages were entered into to unite families to him in the eternal realms.
