and i know that not all music is uplifting. (not sure i would call fade to black an upl;ifting song lol) but uh, most of it was meant to be clean. my friend kyle thought that "where ever i may rome" from metallica wasa about sex. no, it isn't but a lot of bands can be interpited in differant ways. i absolutly hate streiotyps. Ozzy is not satanic. neither is mutter (s far as i know) and disturbed is noplace near satanic. it not the tab but it aint slayer. and i LOVE unstromental songs. though i have to say megadeath's are nothing compaired to metallica's

Ozzy not Satanic? Oh that's right, he just has a comfortable familiarity with the F word that's all

P.S. don't take it seriously username you now I'm just jokin.

oh trust me...listen to classic country vs. southern rock (souther rock is such of duubie brothers, ccr, bob seiger, lynnerd skynnerd ) it is more closely related to modern country.

oh silly one.....trust ME! I have listened to classic country...I grew up on it; used to work at a country radio station years and years before you were even born.....and believe me when I tell you that country started way before any of the members of the Doobies, Creedence Clearwater, Seiger, or the Lynard Skynard bandmembers were even born.

I will agree that southern rock closely resembles modern country......cause modern country is nowhere near classic country, and hasn't been for years. Some modern day country artists will revive some of the old classic country songs, and give credit to the Carter Family, or Jimmie Rodgers, or more modern Ray Price, Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, or whoever was responsible for penning that song. I like some of the old stuff, a lot of the 60's, 70's, and 80's too!

Even Bluegrass music is younger than the original country music....and still older than southern rock. Bill Monroe...father of Bluegrass....started that genre in the late 1940's! Sorry username.....country music has been in my blood for too long to let that boo boo slide. ;)
