Grace80 Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 I have attended sacrament meetings with my husband, but he hasn't felt ready to stay afterwards yet. I tried to watch the "what to expect video" that lds9999 posted but it wouldnt download properly. I understand the the men, women and children seperate and go to different classes. What I don't understand is what each class is called and all the other details. ??? Quote
BenRaines Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 After sacrament meeting, the adults who are not teaching classes to go either Gospel Principles or Gospel Doctrine. Usually those who have been members for less than a year or have not been to church since they were much younger attend Gospel Principles. The rest attend Gospel Doctrine. After second hour of meetings the men go to Priesthood and the women to Relief Society. In these classes we learn how to be better men and women, husbands and wifes, fathers and mothers. Children under 12 attend Primary during those two hours. Children 12 and older attend Sunday School and then Young Womens class or Priesthood for the young men. Ben Raines Quote
