Hi. I was baptized back in April of 2006. I became inactive about a month after that. I don't really know why I did, it's been so long it seems. My husband is not a convert and is not interested. He is agnostic. I became a convert shortly after we got married(a month after). Anyway, I am here to learn about the church's beliefs again, as I have forgotten alot of them. I'd call the missionaries, but my husband does not want "those mormons" around when he is home and he works late nights. :-(

Welcome, Christina! I'm new here too and a convert. This is a great community and you'll learn a lot. If you can go church, I highly encourage you to go...in Relief Society, we're studying Gospel Principles which is basically...well, the basics! So now is the perfect time to start going again.

Thank you for the welcome. I forgot to mention that I'm disabled and cannot drive myself. I am scared to ride with other people for fear I will not fit in their vehicle

(I'm severely obese). It's happened before to me and was very embarrassing. My husband will not take me. I have ordered the new Gospel Principals book, though, to read at home, at least.

Welcome.. sorry I need to go but talk later...

So officially:

Welcome to LDS.net. You will find here an ecclectic mix of LDS and some non-members. While the site is dedicated to the Gospel, and to promoting the Church to a world that often does not understand us, we also make room for conversations about current events, and about social and cultural practices within the Church. If your main desire is to learn about the Church, consider starting with the "Learn About Mormonism" forums. For more advanced teachings, that will often include a variety of perspectives, some non-LDS, consider the Gospel section of forums.

While you are welcome to all main sections, be aware this site makes room for a variety of opinions and personalities. Some posters can be passionate about their views, and occasionally more so about them than about the souls of visitors. If you find something particularly offensive, feel free to make a report by clicking the appropriate tab.
