Guest mormonmusic Posted June 20, 2010 Report Posted June 20, 2010 Just curious if anyone knows how humanitarian aid is funded in the Church -- for example, the Tsunami of a few years ago -- is that funded through tithing, fast offerings, or from donations paid directly to a Church humanitarian aid fund? Wingnut Posted June 21, 2010 Report Posted June 21, 2010 There is a Church humanitarian aid fund that you can donate to right on a tithing slip. All humanitarian efforts by the Church are funded through LDS Philanthropies. Quote
marshac Posted June 21, 2010 Report Posted June 21, 2010 I would have hoped that the Church's investments would help fund stuff like that. Maybe it does? Quote
