kalagasa
Can't remember exactly where it was where I had heard this talk. I believe it was from a General Conference. Can't remember which Apostle had told it but it was a story of a father and son. The son was on his way home from college, BYU I believe. As the son was on the road, coming home for a break of some sort he had hit black ice, or an icy patch. The father got a prompting from the Holy Ghost to pray for his son. He did so but only for a short time and went back to his day. Sometime later he got another prompting. His prayer was not enough, you must "plead for your son's life". He did so and come to find out his son had gotten into a very serious accident, flipping his truck and in serious condition but lived due to his father praying for his son's life. Have been looking for this story for sometime now. Anyone have any ideas?
